This position is responsible for researching, entering and maintaining biographical data in Advance, a comprehensive advancement services system for alumni and donor information.
Provide accurate and timely data entry of biographical updates. Analyze data requirements and gaps. Conduct research for new contact and biographic information using web tools and internet. Code and maintain records in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Must be able to work 5 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Strong use of computer systems and the internet is required; highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry; good interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines; ability to take responsibility, to work well as a team member and to work independently; ability to understand and follow directions; ability to deal with confidential data.
