Part-time 8:00 am – 1:30 pm.
Reporting to the Administrative Services Coordinator of the Rutgers University Foundation, the Foundation Front Desk Assistant will be responsible for establishing a customer/visitor centric experience for all guests to the Foundation.
This role will be responsible for welcoming and directing visitors, answering the Foundation’s main line, covering phone lines for other departments housed at the Rutgers University Foundation offices in Downtown New Brunswick and for collaborating with the House Manager at the Alumni House on the Old Queens Campus, as needed. This role will build positive relationships with internal and external partners as needed. This role will cover all receptionist duties including phone and email, coordinate reservations for on-site events and external partners, and provide meeting and events assistance within the space. The Front Desk Assistant will perform professional work that requires knowledge of general office practices and the basic application and use of concepts, theories and terminology of the Foundation. Professional business attire representative of excellent first impressions will be required at all times.
